Harper’s First Birthday Bash

I still cannot believe we just had Harper’s first birthday party! I wanted to share with you all the details from decorations to food! I sourced her stuff from some of the best online stores out there and can’t wait to share it with you all!

Decorations

Just like my baby shower I wanted Harper’s birthday theme to be blush and gold. I searched all over the internet for the perfect online store and found Parties Made Pretty. I filled the house with glitter & confetti balloons and decorated the table with  beautiful blush, gold and marble plastic plates! I decided to make her first party this pretty because I knew the next one will most likely be Peppa Pig!

Harper’s Outfit

Princess Harper obviously had a gold crown surrounded by pink flowers! This really was a huge hit with everyone (even though she proceeded to rip it off every 5 minutes). I got this beautiful custom made crown from Little Raya Sunshine. I also get all of Harper bows from this online store.

I really wanted a blush dress with lace for Harper but just couldn’t find it so I ended up having to buy a white lacy dress from Best & Less which isn’t what I wanted but Harper makes anything look beautiful!

Food

Harper’s cake was just perfect! I always go for the naked cakes but for her first birthday party I wanted it to be more girly so I went with a gold and pink princess cake. It was so tall and amazing! I got this cake from Kellie Cake Bakes.

For treats we had raw treats who my gorgeous friend made for me! Along with the raw treats for the kids we had the usual fairy bread, cupcakes and my beautiful cousin made the cutest little teacups out of lollies! I find that every event we cook for is more stress than its worth so I ended up just getting catering from a local chicken shop (yes very Aussie of me).

Invitations

I was lucky enough to have Harper’s birthday invitations created by the Little Details Design. Such a perfect floral simple design! Exactly what I wanted!

Flowers

I LOVE fresh flowers and always love having them at events and parties. I got the amazing Nitty at Follow Your Nose to create the most gorgeous flower bunches and she even made a flower backdrop!

Harper’s first birthday party was such an amazing day we got a jumping castle for the kids and just had such a great time. Miss Harper ended up napping for half of the party! (and she NEVER naps!)

It is still so surreal my little baby girl is one! I hope this blog helped some of you mamas help plan your little ones parties!
